Xio Posted January 10, 2003 Share Posted January 10, 2003 Well I started playing this game just a week or two ago and I made it to mission 5, in the city. I used my 3 man alpha team (2 rifleman, 1 support) to wipe out the bad guys near the bank but there were still a couple inside according to my threat indicator. So, I grabbed my sniper and was headed across the street towards the front doors of the bank when I noticed a bad guy coming up the street to the right near the parking garage. I was out in the open in the middle of the street with no good cover and nowhere to run, so as he came up the ramp I dialed in and shot him. Much to my surprise, 3 kill messages echoed onscreen. I was so dumbfounded that I didnt notice a bad guy in the bank, who heard the shot and promptly opened up and killed the sniper. So I saved the replay and by changing the camera angle I discovered there was actually 3 bad guys coming up the ramp, single file...and my shot caught them all through the neck/head. Killa_N_Manila Posted January 10, 2003 Share Posted January 10, 2003 I remember happened to me on the same mission, but the two baddies that I took out were single file, coming out of the bank. I was pretty surprised that my shot penetrated both with enough lethal force to kill both. It really blows me away that you got three with one shot. Great job! oo6man Posted January 10, 2003 Share Posted January 10, 2003 I was playing a co-op mission on crazy with 2 of my friends and there was this huge wave of enemies coming. I was ahead and they were trying to catch up, so i just layed down and shot about 5 shot burst with my machine gun (forget which one) and i killed them all and the kill messages came up so fast, my friends typed "HOLY S**T." BlueMan Posted January 10, 2003 Share Posted January 10, 2003 I was playing with the new Downtown map, the huge firefight, anyway my alpha team, 2 rifle 1 support, we come to the corner of a building, one of my guys is firing straight ahead, the other is watching our six, and lean over the corner and watch this guy come around the corner, walking I was on single shot, I use that most of the time with M16, and I shoot him, he gets hit on the head, and as he does this other guy is right behind him, and his flys back and he drops. In the Replay, I was able to see the first guy get hit and as his head flies back, the other guy gets hit. It was pretty funny, but pretty cool to see. I've had only two kills with one round that way, but I shot through the neck and was intentionally trying to kill them both. I've pulled off 6 kills with one nade though <-------- OT, but this "Cool" emoticon is titled "rocky"...hey that must mean that Rocky is cool, right. I finally found the replay file of triple kill...stupid me never thought to look in the origmiss directory. It seems I cannot attach files on this bb, but if anyone cares I can email it to whoever wants to see it. The weapon used was the M24 that comes on default sniper soldier (Haven't tried specialists yet, only had GR 2 weeks). I have no patches/DS/IT at this point, just straight retail CD. Zantar45 Posted February 20, 2003 Share Posted February 20, 2003 One time me and a bubby snuck up on a sniper, and were asking who was gonna kill him( sounds mean I know- where was his covering man?)anyways....I shot the sniper and 2 of the bullets from the 3 round burst ricocheted? rebounded? off the now dead sniper and hit my buddy in the chest! In the beginning of the mission you are on the embassy rooftop with swarms of enemies all around the embassy walls. Some marines are defending but it is still an extremly hard level... I shot down the left wall and managed to kill 7 enemies with a single shot. the firs guy was killed with a head shot, and the bullet arced down into the las mans upper leg. It was one in a million for a shot like that, but in GR there are several incredable feets to be made. My friend BG ScornDrake showed me one the other day of my Team Leader GEN Ghostdog in the prone position and an enemy hand grenade landed not even 2 feet away and going off and not killing Ghostdog or wounding him. One time i managed to survive a AT rocket( not the direct blast but 4 feet away from point of impact.) and both legs,chest,right arm head were injured.lol Someone on the other team accused me of cheating, if i was that mustve been one crappy cheat. No I dont not cheat, and you can survive any type of attack in GR, its rare but can happen ( Ive seen ppl survive getting shot in the head and take 4 shots in the chest with the M82) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

During a game I was waiting in a corner of the the Building on the Small Docks, suddenly a M3G totin support member comes in the back door by the corridor. As he was entering I fired one shot into his chest killing him. Suddenly the status report at the top of the screen said *=TaG=Zantar45 elimanated (blank support)* =TaG=Zantar45 elimanted ( blank) As I was watching the replay, the bullet from my gun when through the support guys chest traveled in a upward angle and went through a snipers head, the sniper was right next to the door out of sight.
