NightCrawler 137
It's just the old one with new graphics. Still fun though but IMO not worth what they're charging.
Biro 0
Yea, I played it but it gets boring pretty fast. It's basically to do the same thing over and over again so one evening was enough for me. I wouldn't recommend it actually. There's better and more lasting games out there.
Old_Geezer 0
A couple of weeks ago I was browsing game reviews trying to find something totally different and saw a bunch of glowing reviews for Pirates. I thought "What the hell Geezer, take a chance". Took a chance, #### my pants. The boat battles are kinda cute in a nintendish sort of way, the rest is just repetitive and unrewarding. I was going to suffer through as much of it as I could to force myself to like it but once I hit that ballroom floor, that was it. You have to do these ballroom dances and hit the correct button at just the right moments. Kinda like that ancient arcade game Dragon's Lair. Except instead of dodging a headless horseman's sword when you hit left, you get to spin on your tippy-toe doing some jaw-droppingly froofy waltz. I laughed, I cried, I uninstalled. If you live in Canada PM me your addy and I'll mail it to ya for free. I am perfectly prepared to be told I am a freak as there are MANY glowing reviews for this game...different stroke for different folks I guess. Could be you'd completely adore it like the reviewers obviously did, and that I'm just a fussy cantakerous old coot who's nigh impossible to please.
firefly2442 0
Eh, doesn't sound that great. Weird since a lot of magazines liked it. I wonder if it's one of those games where the people who played it were really thinking about the OLD version more than the new one. Anyway, thanks for the help. This will be one game that I will stay away from. Time to go play Rome Total War.
