Old_Geezer Posted January 30, 2005 Share Posted January 30, 2005 I bought OFP GOTY edition, and downloaded the most recent patch for it (legitimate patch) and have just noticed the game runs without the cd in the tray! Is it supposed to do that? Is that Fade copy protection going to mess my game up if I play without the cd? It doesn't even check...the cd drive light doesn't even come on....? Dannik Posted January 30, 2005 Share Posted January 30, 2005 I just checked with a friend of mine who's a hardcore OFP fan, and he confirmed that the CD protection was removed in the latest patch.
