A classic OFP singleplayer mission, converted for use in VBS1.

This is the mother of all missions, now made available for VBS1!

The Ambush SP mission was the mission that came with OFP's original demo

version, back in March 2001. Though it was slightly modified for the retail

version, the objectives and the gameplay are essentially the same.

Ambush was what kicked off the war of OFP against all other FPS military

games that were claiming to represent realistic infantry battle simulation.

And OFP won, of course.

This version of Ambush for VBS1 has been slightly modified to only require

the VBS1 core product installation, with no additional addon packs necessary.

As such, the following changes were made to the mission:

- Shilkas are replaced by BMPs.

- Static .50 caliber MGs have been removed.

- M113s have been replaced by M1A1 Abrams tanks and HMMWVs.

Installation:

Place the OFP_Ambush.Abel.pbo file in your VBS1 Missions directory or

within a sub-folder therein.

That's a cool mission - I must have played that demo a hundred times. Worth getting.
