Zebb 7
Be careful all, i received an email today supposedly from Paypal saying that due to unusual activity my account had been limited and i had to click on a link to rectivate it, it said that it had to be done by the 29th of January of the account would be closed in red letters, once i clicked on the link it asked me for all my credit card and personal details which made me suspicious so i phoned paypal and they confirmed that it is a hoax message. It looks genuine enough with all the right bits on the documentation so if any of you get this message then beware that it contains a trojan and will get all your details, delete it asap... T_1 0
Paypal have a section in their website about hoax emails. The easiest way is to open a browser window and type the url YOU KNOW into it. NEVER click on a link on an email. Sometimes just allowing your mouse to hover over the link will show you the real url on the bottom left of Outlook Express if you use it. I never respond to any threats about account suspension, and always log on normally to check if I have any problems with my account. There are a lot of bad people out there!!! en4rcment 0
Good advice. I have also received them from Citibank and Sun Trust Bank. They look very genuine. I just delete them before I am even tempted to read them.
