I'm just wondering about the controls for movement & vehicles.

Cockpit controls for helicopter and other vehicles.

Are they close to a flight sim?

Are the controls detailed (complicated), or are they simple?

Can someone post the user manual?

Possibly looking to purchase.

Have you played Flashpoint? If so, it's identical.

If not;

It depends on what you're doing. Simple infantry stuff can be handled just like GR, control-wise. My current setup is identical to what I used for GR.

Commanding AI can be trickier, but the commands soon become second nature if you use them alot. It's just a case of memorising the number combinations.

Flight is nowhere near sim-grade. The movement keys for infantry play apply here (you can use a joystick for flight, if you want).

You should give it a shot. It's pretty cheap now, you can probably find it bundled with the expansion.

If not - and for any others who haven't played OFP and want to know what VBS is like - Download the OFP: Resistance demo. It gives you a good idea of infantry combat is like, and also squad command.
