Buck50 0 Posted January 14, 2005 Share Posted January 14, 2005 I am working on my first map. Everything seems to be going well except for one thing - walls in my buildings. The characters can not walk through, see through or shoot through the walls - just like it is supposed to work. But their weapons stick out through the walls whenever the get close to any wall. This happens from both the inside and the outside as well. I've searched the forums, read all the docs, and 'googled' it and I can't find the answer to my problem. Can someone help? I'm sure it's simple and I'm just not seeing it! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
jay316 0 Posted January 14, 2005 Share Posted January 14, 2005 i'm not a mapper but from what i understand you can't keep the weapons from going through the walls as weapons have no collision, if you get close enough you can see weapons stick through even RSE walls if the walls are thin enough, Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Add an occluder for each side(dunno if this will help) Group the inside of the room has a new room(group it and name it _02 and so on), then you have to had portals to the entrances.
