Rocky 1,224
Anyone read his books? I think The DaVinci Code was my record for completing a book, I read that page turner in a few days. This morning I starting reading my 2nd Dan Brown which is actually the first book featuring the lead character that is in The DaVinci Code. I'm up to about page 130 already and feeling just a little cheated... let's look at the facts. DaVici Code Opens with mysterious murder scene Enter Main Character Enter Female "assistant" (different person is each novel) Duo embark on solving How the murder was executed Duo embark on solving Why there is a murder Duo embark on solving Who carried out the murder. Story involves mysterious sects Story involves the Church There is a shadowy masked over figure orchestrating the whole thing There is a capabale assasin carrying out his bidding Angels and Demons Opens with mysterious murder scene Enter Main Character Enter Female "assistant" (different person is each novel) Duo embark on solving How the murder was executed Duo embark on solving Why there is a murder Duo embark on solving Who carried out the murder. Story involves mysterious sects Story involves the Church There is a shadowy masked over figure orchestrating the whole thing There is a capabale assasin carrying out his bidding I mean, yeh, winning formula, don't change it and all that jazz, but this is just a little too similar. It's like reading the exact same book for the first 130 pages, really. It's still an entertaining read though

I think I got the gist of what you posted, but are you saying that DF and DP are worth reading? I was planning on reading them next.
Rocky 1,224
Hey Supa apparantly there is a code in Digital Fortress inside the front cover, but you need the book to solve it. http://www.danbrown.com/secrets/digital_fo...imate_code.html My guess is the first letter on each of those page numbers will form to make a 4x4 caeser code square. 128-10-93-85-10-128-98-112-6-6-25-126-39-1-68-
supasniper 0
Lose digit motor function there for a second supa? little sleep and mucho beer for a week make for bad typing and i just re-read that post and wow it makes almost as little sence as one of snake's. i think the key is to replace 'a' with 'different' yeah, they're good reads, one of the things i like about his books are that you learn somthing from them. if you want the first letters of each page to have a go i can post them if you want IF YOU WANT TO SOLVE THE CODE YOURSELF I DON'T ADVISE READING THE REST OF THIS THREAD
Devil Dog 0
I'm still stuck on Tom Clancy and Dale Brown
Rocky 1,224
Lose digit motor function there for a second supa? .... i think the key is to replace 'a' with 'different' .← LOL, this is like a ... code or something? LOL. If you post those letters I'll post the answer (as a grid).
supasniper 0
W- -G-B- -W-P-B-B-B-S-W-W-D-F-S There are blanks as page 10 is blank and also the 4th 'W' and the 2nd 'S' may be 'C' as they fall on the first page of a chapter good luck
Rocky 1,224
Hmmm, it can't be the first letter of each page if some pages don't have words on them. Looking at the book can you think of hat else those numbers might signify. It's something to do with the book, page numbers is all I can think of.

DOG-ZEBRA 0
I just heard on the news that Dan Brown is facing his now second lawsuit accused of plagiarism. Apparently the author of the "divinci legacy" and "the daughter of god" claims he lifted the plot for "the divinci code" from those two books.
