That confirmed my assertion that these skins are fantastic. Very nice job callmehobbes. Can't wait to see them in-game and really am looking forward to seeing the desert variants. callmehobbes Posted January 27, 2005 Author Share Posted January 27, 2005 Try the snipers - I made the ghillie suits from a scanned photo of a real ghillie suit and I think it works better in-game than it looks in photoshop. I think I made four variations of the basic chr (my favourite has to be the one with the shotgun shells around his waist equipped with the shotgun from BJB's sabre teams. When it comes to taking control of the flight control tower, he looks the business!) I've decided that one on the ghilie suits is too yellow so I've made it more green in hue. Thanks for that, it's appreciated. PS-if you haven't got it, get the DGSE clan mod from the link given by DGSE-Valdez. It has some great missions. Danish SF (Best camo in the world, and some of the best troops) 2 chrs completed, still need some work. French desert (just because I was asked) 1 chr completed-possibly my best chr yet. UK Arctic (My dream mod) 2 chrs that are rubbish and need to be totally remade. Aussie desert (my other dream mod) 2 chrs nearly complete-having problems as camo looks wrong. If only Op. Falconer had been released! @ richmondskin - Oh, I've nothing to do with the DGSE clan (or the French at all really!), I just thought a french mod was long overdue. The Uk arctic will be great to play frostbite with...i wish there were more mods out there with snow scenery. will the aussies be decked out with shemaghs covering their faces? i think sixpence did this for his british sas mod and i thought that was way cool. as for the quote about the DGSE clan, im sorry for the confusion...i was really directing that one at valdez....i just forgot to address that one towards him... ever thought about making some skins of swiss alpenflage? cheers mate! Darkgiver released the mod a long time ago, little before DS was put on the shelves. He was making a v1.2 with DS compatability but never released it. The Panzerfaust III was going to be in that update. He moved on to OFP modding but I don't think he ever released anything by himself. I really want to see a pic of the French desert skin. ← even though the swiss alpenflage is ugly as hell, it does blend in quite well with woodland terrain. plus its so ugly it looks cool to me, at least.
