deleyt
I've started playing around with another modelling program somewhat here and all I can say is "I've seen the light when it comes to organic modelling!!!" Zbrush2 Absolutely rocks! ← I guess you're using Maya? And yes, ZBrush is very good...although I still need to work out how to use it properly
Snake@War
That looks SWEET. .
SnowFella
@D: It's not Maya mate, but Zbrush2 Although just as you I'm still trying to get my head around how it works properly. Mainly the export, import featuers but aswell how to texture things using it. Here's something quick I made just after installing it, took me about 20 minutes to "carve" this out of a 3D sphere. Snake@War
LOL Looks like Mike Myers after he got burned in Halloween Redemption... Is that Mikey, SF?
SnowFella
lol...was just playing around trying to sculpt an alien looking head. Didn't have any reference or anything, just added and subrtacted where it looked like it needed it. Next experiment ought to be a human looking head, should be abit harder I think. deleyt
lol...was just playing around trying to sculpt an alien looking head. ← Looks like a melted Donald Duck... I can see why you're trying to hit it with a Javelin...
SnowFella
Now that you say it mate, it does have alittle of Donald roots space alien who in it's turn gives birth to offspring. Baaaad donald! And Javelin...I know who I'll try to hit with one of those next time I see him ingame
BrandonKappel
That P90 looks great. But will you be releasing both the camo and non-camo ones? I ask this because that particular camo would not work for the desert and wodland/jungle maps. Other than that it looks great, for urban maps. deleyt
And Javelin...I know who I'll try to hit with one of those next time I see him ingame ← Sometimes it's good being on the other side of the world
SnowFella
You might be on the other side of the world mate but with todays global network do you still feel safe? Remember that I know the IP to RSI's VBS1 server, one day our paths will cross and that Jav might be coming your way @BrandonKappel: It will come in both the standard and the Urban camo pattern...aswell as any other patterns that Whisper gets inspiration to make. That's all up to him though. Snow

SnowFella
I've finally got some time to start on the M4 today, pretyt much just the reciever made but the rest should fall into place pretty quick. Reciever made as one solid mesh, nice little practice session in using the edge cut tool Should be some pretty clear indications what type of M4 that I'm making in that render...lets see if anyone can guess. Gav80
Uhh... the lethal kind? Maybe the sort that fires bullets?
Suicide Commando
F-ed if I know. The model so far looks great though.
SnowFella
lol...I'll give you's a hint. The reciever as it stands now is complete apart from the charging handle, in other words there won't be a cover for the eject port. As far as I know there's only one version of M4 type weapon that comes without this.
Tollen
Is this perhaps the HKM4? Since it doesn't have the dustcover, and since you are a wellknowned HK-fanatic it's my primary guess Edited March 29, 2005 by Tollen
Suicide Commando
Yeah, Tollen's probably right. The HK M4 is so ugly though. And a quick question, when you model the AW50 are you going to di it like this SF? And OT but here's a pic of a new KSP58 being trialed. jay316
wow that pic of the ai .50 is wild, ya i agree with SC the hk commando isn't the best looking m4 especially when compared to the colt commando , however im sure snowfellas model will look great. It's going to be a perfect model and texture job as all of SnowFellas are, albeit of an ugly gun.
SnowFella
Exactly what's ugly on it SC?
Suicide Commando
I just prefer the standard M4's, the way they look, their standard features, etc. I really just haven't seen an HK M4 configuration that I've liked. Hell, your finished model and texture'll prolly make me love the gun though SF.
SnowFella
Well...the reciever is completely finished now (including things like safety, mag release, charging handle and other things), time to move on and build the rest of the stuff...shouldn't take me long at all I'd say.
