But I think it's about 10 meters or more, and you simply fire certain tables. I'd ask Hatchetforce on that one, as I simply don't worry about it to be honest with you. I on occasion earlier on I carried an M9 while driving, as even an M4 is a pain to bring around to fire. I never qualified with it (wasn't mine of course, but then again, it's a pistol), but needed something to get thier heads down, allowing me to get the carbine hot. But it's nothing like a true LE course, since really, the M9 is last ditch weapon for most people. I would say however, people with real law enforcement training make up stuff they know works. Matter of fact, the last range, all the M9 users did a quick fire drill, have the weapon in the holster, then when the OIC called "FIRE", they would pull the weapon out of the holster, then double-tap, scan, then when "CLEAR" was given, they would re-holster. Same thing with the long guns, any malfunction, or reloading was done while going. I had to be "OIC" since the OIC had to fire, and an IPA guy we have along was complaing on how fast I told them to fire. But that was really the point, bring the weapon out of the holster, aim, fire. Got a nice vid of a 240 tearing up a e type target at 150 meters. Plus pics of the SWAT type range we ran. Ill post them when I get a chance. Hey ericj Am I a poser also. Say we go back to my home station Germany. They set up the computer permissions, so that if the word "Game" is included SOMEWHERE on a page, it's blocked, because really, we shouldn't be playing games on Army time (yeah, I'll just sham out somewhere else), I'm supposed to be working (yeah, right ). But here? Hell, just as long as you're not viewing porno, you're allright. Plus it's funny I have to go to a warzone to get better internet access, than when you're on leave, and you have to deal with those restrictions, and getting an internet hookup takes too much time.
