_OtAcoN_ 0
ok yes I have yet another M4A1 model and was hoping that some people have crits and compliments about I would love to hear them.. (This is a GR2 gun because I modeled it in 3ds Max r7.0 its roughly around 5000 poly w/out deleted faces, the reason the polycount is so high is because the forearm is hollowed out you cant really see it in the render though my idea didnt work how I wanted it too.) Please Respond.
snared_gambit 0
Awesome model buddy. Some optics would be awesome
_OtAcoN_ 0
yes I made a aimpoint scope and it looked good but I dont like it anymore and it was a 1000 polys on its own so I am going to renake it.
DTDWardenMac 0
That is a very nice model bud
supasniper 0
that's a mighty fine looking model mate you got any plans to put RIS rails along the hand guard?
EricJ 0
The only thing I can nitpick (which ain't much, got my M4 right beside me) is the bevel on the upper reciever, near the handguard slip rings, continues to the edge. The rear portion stops where the charging handle release switch starts. But the barrel needs some work. Basically the only difference between the M4 and M4A1 is the selector switch. Eric J i would love to fix the problems if I understood what you said so give me a PM to explain please, anyways here is the finished model. Educated C&C are accepted. M4 Polycount: 4820 w/out FHG and Aimpoint Edited January 2, 2005 by _OtAcoN_
Suicide Commando 0
That looks really superb otacon. Great detail with a modest poly count.
Argyll 1
Very nice, but I think the mounting flanges for the RIS/RAS are way too thin on the sides of the foregrip, they need to be the same as the top and bottom

EricJ 0
What I mean is the part of the upper reciever that's near where the barrel starts, i.e. looking forward. the /-\ ends there. I got a few M4 pics (mine actually) here: http://562.50megs.com/VBS1/MoreRefShots.zip It's some close shots of the weapon, that may help with any other thing, but the rest man, is looking good, as it's the very few I've seen where I could probably just pick it up right out of the picture.
