Cpl Ledanek 247
due to our move to newer place, most of my stuff are still boxed and can't find stuff/manuals. I'm trying to update firmwares or drivers for my OEM Lite-On: CD-R amd DVD-ROM drives but not sure what models they are and which firmware to download for each. Thanks Cpl
KRP 56 92
You should be able to find out what model they are by opening hardware properties for each device on your PC.
Cpl Ledanek 247
Thanks Thats the problem. I went to Hardware profile and I can't find the properties of the CD-R ROM and DVD-ROM of these Lite-Ons...I'm hoping now that Newegg, has a copy of my orders and hopefull pull the info there.... Specter 0
You can go to Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Information, and go to the components section, and it will give you the info. Or, another way to find out is to open the case, and slide the 2 drives forward enough to read the labels on them, and glean the info from there. I hope this helps.
