larocket83 0 Posted December 12, 2004 Share Posted December 12, 2004 You continue to progress, but I have one tip for this gun: Re-assess the uv mapping. use unwrap uvw and manipulate the vertices to make the textures look right. For example, the text on the grip. The model looks good, just work on texturing a little bit and you'll have a nice usp for use in the game. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
SnowFella 8 Posted December 14, 2004 Share Posted December 14, 2004 Nice cleanup WK The texture mapping does need cleanup like Larocket said, for a model like that it would probably be easiest to planarmap the whole thing all at once. One hint though, if you are mapping it through the Edit UVW window NEVER move individual vertices...Always use the scale tool (Uniform, Vertical or Horizontal) to fit your texture onto the model. Moving individual vertices will create that stretching you can see in your model. Let me know if you want more in depth info about doing this mate. Snow Quote Link to post Share on other sites
