Crimson 0
This is my '05 Mustang GT so far. I think the car looks terrible with body kits and crap, so I'm only doing modest changes. (Lights, rims, cowler hood, paint, and one body vinyl. Suggestions?
Rocky 1,224
Looks great! Quick question, in game if you stop and look at the road, is it terribly pixelated? I have very obvious squares making up the road surface that I never noticed in the demo - do you get the same thing?
Ruin 17
Not too shabby little man. JK. It looks good... but here's what I'd change personally. I agree, the bodykits on a Stang are dumb. I'd ditch the cow hood. There's too many of em out there. I'd grab something different, one that's not used as much. It will also add the the lines of the car. I'd go with one that doesn't extrude from the car, but actually dips into it somewhat. Rims look great, as to the incredibly large brakes, lol. Very nice. Good caliper color, nice match. The side mirrors... they don't really match the car. Maybe grab ones that have more angle to them. If that makes sense. Also, it looks like you have green tint? Maybe? I dunno. If so, it seems kinda out of place to me. I wish we could have control over the paint like real paint shops do. I'd love to see that orange with metallic already, then fleck over top of it. But that's me. The vinyl color, I'd make it just a tad deeper darker orange. Great job man. Makes me very anxious to get my hands on the game here in a few days. Good to see you haven't completely fell off the face of the earth. Keep in touch bud.
Crimson 0
@ Rocky - Yes, the road looks absolutely terrible, almost like it's made out of Legos! @ Ruin - Long time no see. Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, the game revovles around the release of a DVD, and to get on DVD covers, you need to a have a "cool car." To have a "cool looking" ride, you have to put e gazillion and sixty three stickers on it, along with forty five unique vinyls. Here's an update as to what it looks like now. Updated Mustang. The SS is a bit off. The underglow is pulsating white. The brake caliper is actually a darker blue color. The nitrous purge shoots out of the hood and behind the front wheels, and it too is blue. I won the unique carbon spoiler racing some chump, and since there is no full picture of the spoiler, I picked the won that has about a foot missing in the middle. Ah well, I like car, I just wish we didn't need any crappy vinyls. I have to come clean, I did put a sticker on the back window... a Magnaflow sticker. Trying to de-rice as much as possible what should be an American muscle car. Edited November 28, 2004 by Crimson

Ruin 17
Much better Crim. Very nice. I like it, at lot. I wish I could see more of it though, but from what I can tell... very very nice work. Don't be afraid to e-mail, or hit me up on MSN some time man.
Rocky 1,224
Updated Mustang. ← Very nice!
Crimson 0
Thanks. I just filled up my last garage spot with the GTO. @ Ruin - I take it your done moving for awhile?
Ruin 17
Moved in, and squared away. Got the new spiffy 3MEG internet, my own PC room (my own bedroom, lol) and things are finally settling down. Drop a line man.
Crimson 0
I can't wait until I move next year and get the PC into its own room... then I can finally crank up my speakers.
Dilligas 0
My ride. 350 Z I only played this for awhile last night. My Wife picked it up for me yesterday while I was at work. This game is a lot of fun. I was a little annoyed I couldn't play with this car in career mode. Thanks for the tip on adjusting my wheel Rocky. It helped a lot. Rocky 1,224
The horrible road surface I spoke about, it disappeared today, game looks amazing!
Ruin 17
woo! Got the game yesterday afternoon! Very very sweet! I plaed for roughly 4 1/2 hrs or so. Tons of fun, and very sweet. I had a very pimp little 240sx, but just traded it in for the Tiburon, lol. I also have an Escalade as my free sponsor car, hehe. I'm enjoying it, and can't wait until I get deeper into the game. The graphcs rock, the videos are great (lol, a lil cheesy, but fun); and it's a game I hate not palying! I'll try to put up some pics of my Tiburon later on. I'm considering working on the Escalade, but I'm not sure.
Crimson 0
I now have a 10 star Evo, and it actually looks very plain. I'll get some pictures of it up later. Rocky, how'd you get your road to look better?
Daywanderer 0
Had it for a few days now and just unlocked Stage 4 (Coal Harbor) last night. Started out with a Corolla, but quickly moved on to the 240SX. Then I briefly tried out the Celica before trading it in for a Supra. Now I have the Corolla, 240SX, Supra and a smashing RX-8 Awesome game, much better than the first Underground (which was way too unforgiving for a racing newbie like myself). I'll see about some screenshots, if I can find a decent webhost

Daywanderer 0
Thanks Rocky Supra 1 Supra 2 RX-8 1 RX-8 2 The Corolla hasn't been upgraded in any way since the first stage and the 240 is essentially identical to the Supra, so I didn't bother posting those. The RX-8 was surprisingly good. I liked the 240SX for its handling and the Supra for its speed - the RX-8 seems to have the best of both. Now I'm eager to try the RX-7... I have a question for somebody whose played this more than me. When your not playing in career mode how do you open up the locked items to upgrade your cars? Do you unlock them as you advance in career mode?
WhiteKnight77 1
Day is now a racer? Lord what have I wraught on this motley crew?

Dilligas 0
Thanks Crimson. It was probably a silly question, if I had thought about it. After a 14 hour shift yesterday, the brain was a little mushy.
Daywanderer 0
Just unlocked the 3000GT. Front & Back I just couldn't resist. Turns out the RX-8 is still superior, though. Oh well. Now to keep working towards the RX-7, EVO and R34...
Crimson 0
I remember way back when, when all I had to worry about is seven stars or less, and I could build amazing looking cars... just wait for the carbon fiber body kits.
Daywanderer 0
Just got my hands on the unique widebody kit upgrade. The beauty of the Skyline almost brings a tear to my eye. Does anybody know if the body mods affect the car in any way? I vaguely recall reading something about this. It could just be good ol' Placebo kicking in, but the Skyline feels "heavier" after I put on the widebody kit - not taking turns as easily, etc. Opposite thing seems to happen whenever I put on carbon parts. Probably just my imagination, though
Ruin 17
Current Ride. After 52% game completion, and having just unlocked Coal Harbor West... 3000GT Bank is down to 83 because I got the new front bumper, and Cobra hood. Gotta go race for more cash, lol. God I love this game... it's addictive. Edited December 7, 2004 by Ruin
