Gecko.pxs 0
Ok, I'm a little less familiar with skinning models that arent of the ica_us_etc series. I've imported an actor file from another mod with permission placed it in my mod/Actor/MP Actors/Platoon 4 file. "mp_plt4_d1.atr" is the name of the actor file. I also have the character file "mp_plt4_d1.chr" in my Character folder along with "mp_plt4_d1.rsb" (skin file) and "d1_head_blinkd.rsb","d3_headd.rsb" (face skin files). Now, in igor I have assigned the .chr file to the actor in LOD1, aswell as in Desert LOD1. I have also assigned the face and face blink files accordingly. Next, I went into my no_restrictions.kil notepad and entered him there onto 4th platoon. Here's the problem --> When I get into multiplayer and choose my new character, he is completely white apart from his face and a small portion of his webbing, I think it's either a holster or a pocket. My first thought was that my main .rsb file isn't matching up with my .chr file. But firstly how come that holster is there? And I can find anywhere in igor to assign .RSBs to .chrs. Any help on this matter would be greatly appriciated.
Gecko.pxs 0
Problem sorted thanks anyway. Turns out that the CHR files hate being re-named Edited November 25, 2004 by Gecko.pxs
WP33 0
In the future, there' s a cool little tool made by Mike Schell called a "skinner" that will allow you go in and assign .rsbs for any .chr file. You can find it in the tools section in downloads on this site. Very nice little application.
