Cobblers 12
I posted a thread about XFire a little while ago. But I just got replies saying "already know about it" or "old hat" - so I deleted the thread!! Back to Xfire - I think it's a really good piece of software. I think the only draw back to it is not being able to have multiple chat, and not being able to transfer files from one person to the next. But that aside, being able to see what game your friend is playing is a great idea, and then to be able to join the same game is superb. Great for clan matches and the like, no more "I didn't know what the IP was"!!!! I've got about 20 people already added, and more keep coming as people are getting connected. One feature I like, although this could end up being more of a deterent, is the ability to see how much gaming you have been doing, and on what game. Will be funny to see how many hours I've played GR2 once it's been out for a year!! Scary thought!!!

Cobblers 12
Well I heard that eventually two gamers could be playing two completely different games from each other, and still be able to chat. So it is in the pipe line so PCGamer UK says anyhow! Either way I'm building up a good list of friends on their now. You can also get a sig for forums, sates your online status, what games you have and are playing at that moment! Cool eh?
