Arms 0
Upon getting my usual pc mag the cover disc featured a free full game called Steel Panthers World At War. Upon installing the game (which took fairly long 10 mins??? and the file is BIG) and playing it the games learning curve was quite hard to find out. The is a turn based rts ww2 game. The game can become quite tedious especially when playing the normandy map as theres probably tons of units on the map. So im thinkinh any of you guys got it?

firefly2442 0
Yep. I've played it. Kinda steep learning curve as you said. I tried getting into it but it was a little too hard. Have you gotten pretty good at it?
Arms 0
I have sort of a idea on how to play, as using the artillery can be quite frustrating. The more shots you fire the less movement spaces u have left for the unit.
Arms 0
Ill keep on working on the game though if i have time.
NightCrawler 137
Sounds like the old boxed games from Avalon Hill, PanzerBlitz and Panzer Leader. I used to play those for days if I could find someone to play with, eventually no one wanted to play, just too time consuming. And the 40+ page rule books kept alot of people from even wanting to learn the game.
