WhiteKnight77 1
I was checking my email earlier today and came across this in a newsletter I get. Firefox, bah humbug I saw some of this first hand while trying to view my website. While I could view the text, the images wouldn't show. That may have been due to a .htaccess file I had, but now I am not so sure. Seems that the 5% that use other web browsers don't see a website as it is actually coded, even with simple HTML. Edited link. I have no idea how that extra link got in there. Edited November 7, 2004 by WhiteKnight77
Dannik 43
I was going to reply to this with statistical anaysis showing that IE does not render W3C certified html either, but then I thought... it's not worth it.

Cpl Ledanek 247
There are "some" sites that I cannot see pics, i.e Danniks Avatar sometimes doesn't show on Mozilla---which is fine with me, coz I know its just an avatar that I have seen "many many" times, specially when he's out dispensing valuable advice. Enugh sucking. Most pics that do not show, when I do cut n past them to open up on IE, I'm just sorely dissappointed that its nothing special. As long it doesnt block my porn site its fine with me....did I just say that out loud? I guess its a concern if your webmaster, or a company trying to sell a product. The only time I put up with IE is at work, where we don't used Mozilla. At home, its Mozilla or die waiting for my page to show up---yes I'm still on dial-up. To me, its just faster. enough of my 2 cents
WhiteKnight77 1
I just thought this interesting Dannik. I have a link to an article about memory and how the PCB can have an effect on it stuck in an email somewhere.
Dannik 43
Wk, my post was purely to poke a small amount of fun at the topic title. No offence, bro.
firefly2442 0
As long as the code is compliant with standards I don't think you should have any problem with Firefox/Mozilla/IE/Safari/any other browsers out there... Firefox is taking over IE anyway.
CR6 0
Hey WK, check your e-mail - I think I may have solved how to get your site looking the same in both IE and FireFox using tables. Now if we can only figure out why GR.net shows up with such small text in FireFox
Rocky 1,224
Now if we can only figure out why GR.net shows up with such small text in FireFox ← I said I would look into this ages ago eh?

Zeko 33
I tried it with Opera, Firefox and IE. All worked except that IE took almost 1 minute to open it.
Specter 0
Now if we can only figure out why GR.net shows up with such small text in FireFox ← I said I would look into this ages ago eh? ← I'm guessing that it is a setting on the particular PC he is using, for the text is right on the money for me, and I have to say, this is an awesome browser. If he has a scroll wheel, hold down the control button and use your scroll wheel to adjust your text size.
CR6 0
Now if we can only figure out why GR.net shows up with such small text in FireFox ← I said I would look into this ages ago eh? ← I'm guessing that it is a setting on the particular PC he is using, for the text is right on the money for me, and I have to say, this is an awesome browser. If he has a scroll wheel, hold down the control button and use your scroll wheel to adjust your text size. ← The text in the forums looks perfect. What I meant was the text on the default GR.net news page is still smaller than in IE, even in the v1.0 release today. (You can see what the "normal" text size is in FireFox by hitting Ctrl+0) I've confirmed this on multiple PC's. BTW, thanks for the cool tip about the scroll wheel to adjust your text size.
