CommandoCrazy
hi guys. has anyone mad a M2 with Bushmaster 25mm 7,62 mm MG and TOW ? would be more realistic than the original GR one with just .50cal MG
blakarion.
Yep - Im currently working on a "updated" Bradley model, using the 25mm Bushmaster and TOW for AT work. The MG is doubtful (looking into if can have 3 weapons set up in the Model - never tried yet). The M2 will carry a full troop compliment AND if I can swing it (and I think I know how to now) be able to allow troops/players to fire out of the Bradley while still under cover - more news on that as I go along. It will come with the basic GR texture on it, but I may do a few other 'skins' as well with it, as well as a destroyed version to be put on maps. Im also looking at having the rear door openable. [GRT1]Kpl.Eli
I made a M2 bradley, but the model is a bit high poly to fit in GR though.
blakarion.
@[GRT1]Kpl.Eli : go on scare me, how high ? Maybe u could cull a few polys down and (with full permission and credit) allow me to tag it up and release it ???? Will certainly save me a few days of work if u have already got it done @Suicide Commando : while its tru there is many new vehicles in Op:Dark Star, there will be many more Opfor and Allied vehicles released. Ive also been asked to do various vehicles for a few different mod's as well as been asked to be a "Guest" Scripter on Mods as well ! But I should squeeze the OpFor and Allied Vehicle Mods out soon(ish) @sniper82 : Now I know how set up 'Shotgun' vehicles, yes, I should have a lot of Vehicles u can ride & fight from ! The future look bright, for AT carriers anyway

blakarion.
@Commando Crazy Due to the restrictions on the tagging system for GR / 3dsMax, only two weapons can be set up per vehicles. RSE took the view u need a single anti-infantry and a single anti-Armour weapon only per vehicles. So its usually down to the Moddeller which of the weapons are set up for. Ive recently re-modelled the BMP 1 / 2 / 2D and have given them the most appropiate weapon load avail, inc making new .gun/.prj files to go with them. It is possible to have one BMP set up with a PKT and a 73mm Cannon BUT u will need a seperate model to have one with a weapon load of its PKT and "Sagger". This is one of the reasons why I ended up re-working the BMP etc, so I could have different types of the same vehicles in game at same time. Hope this helps your understanding of the restrictions GR has reference vehicles
