I'm not a "gamer" at all, but picked up GR on a whim back in like June, and have been hooked ever since. I'm sure you guys have been through the changes you'd like to see in the new ones but let me throw in my $.02 anyways. -I'd love to see something where you have to set up an ambush, not so much like Stone Bell (I think thats the name) where you can only attack the tank column in one place, but where you're given a whole map up against a vastly superior force and have to look for choke points or places where the terrain negates their advantages in numbers. -Maybe a mission where you have to slip past enemy lines to meet with a guerilla leader to coordinate resistance, then slip back out and hit a secondary target. Along the same lines maybe where you have to get into position to paint a targat with a laser for an air strike and then fight your way out after. -Flashbangs and smoke grenades would be helpful as well. -The ability to call in close air support or artillery/mortar strikes. Don't have it available on every mission just on a few if you're going up against a force which greatly outnumbers you. -Also the ability to pick up weapons. It drives me nuts when I set up my teams and go out with only one sniper, he gets popped, and my whole gameplan goes out the window with it. Except make it realistic, if a rifleman picks up a sniper rifle the accuarcy of the shot goes down, and he can't carry both his assualt rifle and sniper rifle. There is a ton of other stuff I'd like to see and while the new game is already done I won't but its still fun to toss it out there. When does GR2 come out for PC? You'll only get your hopes up otherwise. Some people have been talking about a May release date. IMO the longer the better really. That way we get a better game!
