Once I figure out what it will be and actually open Max to start the modelling, i'll post a few screenshots. Remember, it's just a start. If I get enough feedback i'll post some shots of other maps that might end up looking similar or I can just post a new displaced plane on a daily basis until I figure out what it will look like. You may know how to do it but other are still learning to walk behind you, so show them how not slate them cus they fall over or have just figured out which foot goes b4 the other!!!!!! I have sand for now but maybe it'll be snow, i'm not sure. The lighting is a little too bright so i'll have to darken it up a little(for the night version at least). XE_Joker 0 Posted October 25, 2004 Share Posted October 25, 2004 hmmmm i see potential. dune wars. i have been asked to suggest to any map maker out there, to make a nice desert map with lots of sand dunes and scattered palms with mini oasis' and some nomad tent encampments. also maybe small arab city map. with battling cities. which would be great for sieges or team last man standing matches. i'm not very good with 3dsmax but i can throw ideas at you if you need any.
