blistr 0
What other programs do you have running in the background? Please post your dxdiag log as this will list your entire system and show all running processes.

Rocky 1,224
What is the size of your mods folder in Mb?
Foxtrot360 0
oh boy lol.... 9.68 GBs of mods . cant believe im on dial up can ya
WhiteKnight77 1
Large number of mods can slow down GR's load time. You have many, many mods from the looks of things.
Rocky 1,224
oh boy lol.... 9.68 GBs of mods . cant believe im on dial up can ya ← There's your problem. Drag the mods you don't play so much into a folder somewhere else on your PC. Launch GR. Marvel at how quick it loads.
Matt03 0
Yeah that is the problem. GR takes me about 2 minutes to load or at least it seems that long. SOAF has no mods and takes a few seconds to load up. Moving the mods is a very good idea.
Foxtrot360 0
lol i knew somethign was up , i have soaf too and only 2 or 3 mods for it and it loads in like 2 seconds
Stalker 0
same here. ---> 53049 files, 2270 folders, 8,6GB but I have no problems with the 2 minutes waiting time *sigh*
GothicSnake 0
Yeah, Ive got so many mods it takes about a minute and a half to load. Why does it take so long, though? I've only got 4 of those activated, at any time.
ROCO*AFZ* 0
OMG that was a lot of mods... that will do it everytime. I think rather active or not, it scans that folder. Maybe in case you want to activate them.
Specter 0
Because when GR starts up, it scans the entire game directory, and the bigger the mod folder, where most everything is, the longer the load times, and the more memory it requires also. Not sure why that last, but I did a test awhile back, and the bigger my mod folder got, when I went to Task Manager and checked, the more memory used. So you see, it isn't just graphics and such that use memory. But I digress....Roco's right...the bigger the mod folder, the longer the load times, and the more memory used.
