Are you using Outlook Express? Have you tried using a different e-mail client just to see if it works, thus proving the problem is unique to your primary e-mail client?

He is using Outlook Express. I don't he has tried another email client. I'll mention this to him, if he doesn't see this first.

what browser do u use?

Primarily IE6.

Have you installed WinXP SP2? Do you have any pop-up blocking software installed?

Word of warning, don't even mention to him about SP2. VERY bad experience. Needless to say, it is no longer on his machine. Don't know about the pop-up blocking software. I don't believe so, but I'm not 100% positive.
