asudevil2213 0
I was wondering if anyone has come out with a nice model of an M14? I have seen the models of the M14 R.I.S. or whatever it was and would rather have an original model. Anyone have a clue where I might be able to find one?
Gen.Montgomery 0
DVS1 Weapons Mod at the Equiptment Downloads section. If we're talking about texture, sound and the gun's size ratio on the ghost operative's body this mod's M14 is perfect. This mod has the best M14 model for me. asudevil2213 0
I took a look at the DVS1 Weapons mod and I would have to say it is pretty good . I would have to say that I did not like how the reticules were used. Never really liked it that way. I sound was good as well, but not the full auto sound on the regular M14 while using a Rifleman. I would still use it though, but if anyone knows of a good reticule for the M14 and a good full auto sound as well just leave a reply. Anyone know how to change the reticule if possible on a weapon? Gen.Montgomery 0
Open the desired weapon file in the equip folder, in the file you can see the weapon attributes as well as the reticule being used. Change the reticule.rsb with the reticule.rsb you desire. Just make sure the reticule you desire is in the texture located in the mod folder. What type of reticule are you looking for? You can ask DVS1 on the reticule you like, maybe he has one. Hope this helps.

asudevil2213 0
I was looking at all of the mods that I have and found out that there were some M14's that i already had and just forgot about them. But out of all my favorite ones the I liked was the M14 from Sixpense Navy Seals mod - I like the models and the sounds. Second was from and Elite mod with an M14 and M21 - it had a good model and sound is okay. Last was the DTD Team mod with their M21 Seal Scout, i liked the model and the sound as well. The reticules for the Navy seal mods I do not like since it limits what you can see, the elite mod uses the standard reticules for Ghost Recon and finally the DTD has a good reticule that I like to use. Forgot that I liked the DVS1 M14 model as well just not the sound and reticule. Edited October 18, 2004 by asudevil2213

Anyone know how to change the reticule if possible on a weapon? ← Navy seals v.2 has some awesom rets in there... especially the iron sights for the M-14. makes having near 0 zoom almost seem worth it. plus, it adds realism to the weapon as the original never had optics attached
