Rocky 1,224
The slow performance of the forums, and the problem with getting an Out of Memory error, should be resolved now. Please post and let me know if you see a difference now, thanks. When we had the problem after the upgrade, the execution time was around 3.5 seconds, it is now down to less than half a second, so you should see a huge improvement. WhiteKnight77 1
I think it is getting a bit slow tonight. I saw this as I went to load this thread: 4.1257sec. Bit slow for sure.
WytchDokta 6
I dunno if you guys know about this but. The forum still gets errors in IE6 and Opera. I tried to post a PM in Opera, got an error message. So I posted the PM via IE6 and it went through fine. In Opera, I also got the same error message when I click on reply to post. And just now, in IE6, I just got the same error when I clicked on a thread to view that thread. The error is as follows: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 70481 bytes) in /sites/ghostrecon.net/http/forums/sources/classes/class_display.php on line 265 Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 6 bytes) in /sites/ghostrecon.net/http/forums/sources/functions.php on line 334 Is the memory error message in question? Maybe it's a problem my end.
blistr 0
I noticed it slowing down over the past couple of days. It can sometimes take up to 15 seconds to display a page. Pages are generated within 2 - 4 seconds now.
Snake 0
mine is taking 4 seconds
Avey 0
4 Seconds here too.

Quite a few of us were receiving those memory error messages for a day or two after the upgrade, especially when using the Personal Message system.

JTF-2 0
seems a fair bit slower than it used to be (before the upgrade) but it does look much nicer. This page took 3.3secs (on boradband) for me... it used to be almost instant Also, just discovered that "My Assistant" thing. I've been here for so long and only just started playing with it
