Sarc 0
"By about the 15 minute mark we figured it would be a draw and started chatting about the Embassy map. Then I hear Opus blurt "On map! On map! Behind us!" Oh lord.... Badger is behind us.. He had crept up on us and he was so close his movement showed up on map.... So I hear Opie pull out a frag and I sobbed as I actually drew out my pistol in the Badger Hunt. My pistol!" --Microbe Tactical Gamer is continuing the tradition of the Badger Hunt. Click here to register for the Badger Hunt Click here to become a supporting member of Tactical Gamer Required Mods: You are REQUIRED to have TG 3.0 as well as Frostbite patched to 1.3 installed and ready to play when the match time arrives. It is highly recommended that you practice with these mods before competing. If you're not convinced you need to practice, be sure to read Badger's bio. What does this mean for the hunt? It means we have stepped up the challenge again this year and removed contacts from the map altogether. No sensors will be available, and there will be absolutely no on-map alerts to your team nor to Badger as to the opposition's whereabouts. These mods can be located on Tactical Gamer's website in the downloads section of our member forums (accessible with Tactical Gamer membership). They can also be found on FilePlanet: Tactical Gamer 3.0 Frostbite 1.2 Frostbite 1.2->1.3 Edited October 9, 2004 by Sarc
Luna 0
This will be an event that no one will want to miss, gentlemen! There have recently been some enormous developments regarding prizing for our 2nd Annual Badger Hunt. I cannot divulge the details just yet, but stay tuned for a huge announcement! You can get a jump on things by downloading Tactical Gamer 3.0 and Frostbite (don't forget to patch it up to 1.3!). TG 3.0 removes contacts from the map entirely, thus making the competition that much of a nail-biter. Huah! Luna GR Game Officer www.tacticalgamer.com
