Stinger 0
A dll is a core part of an application almost always needed to run properly. You shouldn't have lost all your mods if you told the computer not to delete your save games thingys (works for me anyways). But this time uninstall and delete all the registry keys that are to GR. Then reinstall.
GP_Joltin_Joe 0
Info tidbit: DLL stands for "Dynamic Link Library" Does GR tell you what file is missing?

Rocky 1,224
We need the exact error message. Check our RECON section for details on a full GR uninstall including the registry.
THEDUDE 0
the error massage is: "A required .DLL file, Dinout8.DLL, was not found" this is what it says. I've uninstalled it three times and still what the hell is wrong?
Stinger 0
are you sure it wasn't dinPut8.dll?
SOTOMac 0
http://www.alltheweb.com/search?_oldhost=a...4&query=dinput8 Download one of these Drivers and then Install it to Your C:\Windows\System Folder and allow it to Overwrite. Then Reboot Your System and try to start "GR". Please Repost with ANY further Issues You may have, but also post if this Fix Solves Your Problem. dinput8.dll appears to be a DX Driver or Dynamic Link Library that Direct X uses. Exclusive of the .DLL DLs Linked above, You could just Install DX9.0 and overwrite through a Normal Update of DX... Regards,
