Loot
Yeah, I've never seen a SCUD launcher in Ghost Recon but then again theres plenty of mods I haven't seen that could have them.

Wrangled
Unfortunately I think the poly count of that SCUD launcher is too high for GR though. Edited October 9, 2004 by Wrangled

harntrox
theres at least 5 ways to optimize the poly count in max so.... you should easily be able to get 90% reduction by splitting it up into small groups and reducing the polys 'by hand'. taking a 30,000 poly model down to 2,000 polys takes about a half hour, using a variety of the tools max provides for optimization. Zeko
Use MultiRes modifier or go to editable poly, select edge and start removing edges.
GRT
yea, i knew those 2..didnt know there was really any other way.
SnowFella
Well, you can also use the "Optimize" modifier but that tends to make more of a mess than what it cleans up. If I have to do something like this I usually do it by welding verts, pretty quick and easy.
Zeko
The good part of MultiRes is if u already have UV map on your model, cuz it respects texture co-ordinates. Also removing edges wont distort your UV map that bad compared to welding verts. Thats if u have your model textured.
