WOO just got GeForce MX 420 64mb PCI graphics card

well il tell u guys how the installation goes right after i get it in cause i just got back home soo wish me luck and hope that everything goes well

BTW yes i know how to install a graphics card and all that hehe :D:D

no i had a 8 mb via tech onboard graphics card

BTW i just got the sucker installed and just played GR and i went to play the embessy and man im missing out a bunch cause i used to only see white walls and now i can see actually buildings lol

You would be amazed at what a really good card would do, it makes it that much better. Too bad you're limited to cards of that power. You'd think, after all these years, that AGP ports would be standard in all pcs.

Standard yes. My board had it standard. Till COMPAQ ripped the frickin thing off the board those!@%$ :angry:

yea lol i knew even before that we got this comp that i thought COMPAQ was a crappy computar lol i saw one of their ads and they a whopping 20 gb hard drive and i laughed my ###### off from that point on i knew NOT to get a compaq.o well this card is great for me i mean come on im coming from 8 mb to 64 mb now thats a big change.

i had a gf 256 pro when i first found the GR demo and to be honest ive had a gf2 mx 400 then a gf4 mx 440 then a gf3 ti200 128ddr and finaly a gf4 ti 4200 all because i wanted the most out of this game, im finaly satisfied with the eye candy and effects i get tho it was quite an expensive journey, funny thing was till i found GR all my other games ran and looked great on the old 256 pro funny the lengths well go to play a game
