Nah, gotta stay away from Aussie stuff, not for the few missions I may do.  Hey Whisper, if it's an SP capable mission, I'd like to check it out.

I'll send it over to you when I get home.

Did you know that you can "create" your own MP server and play by yourself? The mission is more fun that way, since you can choose which unit/character to play as. Also as a sidenote, you can copy the MP missions from your mpmissions folder over to the spmissions folder and play all the MP missions in SP, they are much harder but still playable. I play Black Market like that all the time.

I've tried Black Market twice. First time I died at the first ambush, and made it close to town before getting sniped by a soldier.

Actually, that's where all my missions are at right now, in the missions folder. I'm playing them SP.

Thats just VBS1 for you mate. The level of detail in those screenies is nothing compared to in game.

I take my screenies using DXDLL. That converts them to .tga format. Loese some detail.

Then Converted them using photoshop to JPEG's again lowers detail and then host them at photo bucket. Which again compresses the image. Only thing I do in photoshop is to auto- adjust...as the .tga images are too dark.

Basically what u see in those screenies if probably half to a 1/3 of the detail I get in game.

The models are that detailed. In fact the wesps especially lose a lot of detail in a screenie. U have to see them in game to appreciate how much work Earl put into them.

Thanks Para,

It's just the game man..nothing too special, Kegety's(sp?) DxDLL is key, I just played with the settings until I was happy. I think the key for me is in the post processing, if you turn it up too high, it get's blurry, I like that effect but overall it's bright and for me, hard to see objectives and units on the map & in editor. So I have arrived at what you see.

This game has so much going for it, some areas are lacking, but other areas more than make up for those.

Now if Only Earl would do a camera for VBS1 like he did for GR, I would have no qualms at all being the Photo Journalist on some of these MP missions..conect the mouse click to the screen shot function and let me go to town. Now that would be fun.

BTW - Para, you need to find some time to join us for some MP, would be nice to all run at one time.

Yeah, I need to find some time to play MP. Typically, though, if I'm on the PC, my head is stuck in PhotoShop or Max. :P
