I really like that particular time of day on this map; the sunrise over the mountains is just astounding. VBS1 never ceases to amaze me. Examples... 1. Forget what Dustin Hoffman says. The Rainman is wrong. Quantas is not the safest airline. Pictures speak louder than words........ 2. You guys may take the beach-head, but if you try and take the chip shop, it's every gull to himself!!!! 3. All the CSHAGgers like to post pics of themselves hunting big game. Maybe it's camels, goats, rabbits etc. I can handle all those, but I think in this shot captured by greenpeace, it shows gordon has really lost the plot! At leats Until someone makes a Ghan Map for VBS1 @ Vipes too funny mate. Love the Sea Gull on the .50.... As to the Sea Gull I'm lining up- Of course that wasn't my intention If I wanted to blow something away I'd use an RPG/ satchel charge or a Javelin.... maybe all of the above.... Delta One Zero Posted October 11, 2004 Share Posted October 11, 2004 (edited) G'day fellas, figured I'd have to eventually get around to dropping in, recently got my hands on the full registered copy of Fraps (just the other day), so I'm looking forward to spending some time making vids (once i find somewhere to host 'em + a divx encoder or whatever) + make .jpg screenies of VBS1 in action. I've had the software for awhile now, and used to play on a regular basis on the now "dead" official (Australian) VBS1 server (bloody sad state of affairs that), have all the addon packs too, just waiting on more to be released (rather impatiently I might add, espiecally in regards to ADF2.... damn I want that F18). I know of a few Dedicated servers in Europe, but haven't really got around to trying them out, I'd probably lag badly on them anyway, seeing as how I live in New Zealand and only have 256kbit ADSL (soon to be 2mbit.)
