Jkopczyk
I'm brand new to Ghost Recon and just purchased the GR and DS game pack, and I'm curious to know what voice platform most of you use for multiplayer. I've heard of RogerWilco and Teamspeak. Thanks,

Jkopczyk
Thanks. Is it tough to set up; Any hints?
WhiteKnight77
I'ts not that hard to set up really. There are 2 versions that most people use and if you do a search of the forums you will find links to both of them here.
Rocky
We have a TS report in the RECON section, but it needs updated for v2.0.
Jkopczyk
Thanks again. I'll check it out.
NightCrawler
Also don't overlook the new kid on the block, Ventrilo easy to set up with the quality of TS2. Just head on over to Ventrilo.com and dl the 1.06 ver.
Cobblers
Well TS1 is fine, I get no lag using that myself, where as TS2 is very laggy for me, so I end up lagging out of the game servers a fair bit. TS is used most though I think. RW is pretty good, may not sound the best, but performs pretty good imo. Not used many of the other ones like MS Speak or whatever it is called. Jkopczyk
My friend and I dl'd TS2 and he dl'd the server as well and got both to work. He gave me his IP address and the password. I set it to server assign nickname. When I try to connect I get the following. Connecting to ....... and then.... No reply from server Maybe the server is offline or maybe TS is not running on it. Like I said, he can get in and has the server and client. I do not have a firewall, running XP and have 112k connection. I though you might be a quicker help solution than the TS forum. Pave Low
Has he got a firewall or router at his end ? If he has then he will need to add the TS ports to his router/firewall. I had this exact same problem when I hosted a TS 2 server, in the end I just bypassed my router and it works fine.
EHT_TAW
TAW uses TS2....We tried Ventrillo....But there is no Whisper Function like TS.... So we will stick with TS2
Jkopczyk
Yes, he has a firewall and I think we'll have to bypass it. I'll give that a try. Thanks again!
WhiteKnight77
XP has a built in firewall that needs to be disabled too. On both both partied PCs.
