Nexus Fan Controller Help

Recommended Posts

Stinger, thats a bad idea... Why? I assume you're wanting to use it on a fan so you can plug it into your mb for monitoring purposes. That fan has a 4 pin connector for a reason, it draws more current than the mb can support. If you plug it into your mb, your risk frying something.

The 3 pin is the thing that connects to the Nexus. It wont accept 4 pin connectors. So there has to be a 4 from the fan to a 4 from the nexus 4-3 pin adapter. So

Fan 4--->4 Pin end of 4-3 connector 3 pin connector on the Nexus.

The 3 pin end connects to these:

The 4 pin is the power for the Nexus.
