rcrph 0
I would like to upgrade my aging 1G Athlons. Any suggestions for a reliable on-line hardware retailer ?
bkriley 0
Pricewatch.com is a cool site it looks for the lowest price it can find and will bring up a list of places on the net to buy from if anyone receives bad service they are supposed to file a complant with pricewatch so hopefully bad retailers have been removed. It is a good place to find a good price. I purchased Plantronics 500 Headset from a retailer I found there and saved about 40 bucks.

RooK 0
Ask anyone who has ordered from Newegg (including myself) and we'll tell you it's the best service ever. Even on their basic 'Fedex Saver' shipping, which is usually less than USPS Ground, I have gotten part from them in 2-3 days all the way across country. As for pricewatch.com... yeah, good prices, but no info on how good the retailers are. Just be sure to check resellerratings.com before you place an order with someone. Dark Ranger 0
Yes, I must say that NewEgg.com and GoogleGear.com are some of THE best online retailers. I have bought parts from both, and I will never shop anywhere else. Newegg's SuperSaver Shipping, as RooK mentioned, is basically 2 or 3 days. GoogleGear's 2nd Day shipping is also very good. For instance, I ordered about $420 worth of hardware from GG, and only paid $8.00 for FedEx 2-Day! I have never had any problems with either, no returns, no damaged components...I would highly recommend those two sites. Have never dealt with PriceWatch, but I hear they are good too. Meth 0
Newegg rocks! I built my custom rig and most of my parts I purchased from newegg. Shippin was fast too, usually about a week. They are an excellent service and I have no complaints. Thx for recommending it RooK
