Cpl Ledanek 247 Posted August 1, 2004 Share Posted August 1, 2004 I'm trying to set up a guest account for my wife on my WINXPPRO PC. But when she logs on to her account, then she trys to log on to the net, the connectiont to the net (ISP/ MODEM/DESKTOP ICON) will not do anything. I tried right-clicking to the icon, and there are no "Open" option, just "Properties." Did I accidentally set up a restriction? When logged on in her account, I can access the Control Panel > Modem folder. But where do I go from there? thanks in advance. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
NightCrawler 137 Posted August 1, 2004 Share Posted August 1, 2004 Sounds like you need to go to your control panel/user accounts and adjust her permissions a bit. Just make sure that you do that while logged in on your account or the changes won't take effect, if you can get in and change anything at all. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
