Hatchetforce
The site claims these are new. Some of them apparently are. http://www.bonusstage.com/art1626.html
NYR_32
Definately some new stuff in those screenies....intresting.
Sart
Cool shots, glad to see all the characters don't look goofy like the machine gun guy, you could spot him from a mile. The maps look pretty cool, I hope they stick to the thick woods of GR1.
deadly_sniper22
As much as it isn't the GR2 i wanted, it still looks like a good game.
deleyt
Graphically, it certainly looks very promising. The features that strike me the most are the foliage and the combustion-effects which both seem to be a big improvement. I wonder how big the maps can be and if UBI made the skybox dynamic. Sart
I wonder how big the maps can be I read somewhere that one map was almost/over 800 meters long. Love the tall grass, I hope when you lay in it the bad guys won't be able to see you! Sneaky.
Zantar45
I wonder if it (da grass) will offer the same type of concealment like in JO? Nice graphics, of course thats expected.
Dan
http://www.bonusstage.com/images/media/gho...n_072904_04.jpg The AI looks mighty clever
2nd Ranger
Hehehe. Come on, he's a Nouvelle Ghost, he's bullet-proof. At least you can't deny GR2 looks good. And look at those spent shells! No more dirty green, baked bean-can sized brass.
deleyt
I read somewhere that one map was almost/over 800 meters long. 800 huh? That's not too bad for a game that relies on foot-soldiers Too bad the skybox is still the same (I think, looking at the pictures). Would be mighty nice if they have a more dynamic environment-system (like JO for instance, that on rocks with day to night and back to day again!) sleeper
I read somewhere that one map was almost/over 800 meters long. Ummmm, whoopty woo, GR maps can be that large and larger. Why such a concern? The only limitation GR imposes is concerning the command maps. GR2 will have no command maps, hence no limit to map size. Not a feature to boast about if you ask me, it's just as capable to have in GR1. And whats the point of realistic water if the trees look like cartoons, not to mention the characters. Sart
Whoopty woo? I'm just passing on information.
|S&P|Papa6
I'm sure the GR2 pc version will look better(crossing fingers) because of the abilities of what pc's can do. but I'll be quiet until the game comes out. I hope that it isn't ported.

I'm fairly sure I have heard in one of those video interview that the command map is still in the game. I'm gonna go see if I can't find that one. calius
Seen the bullet holes (hot glowing) in another shot for tanks many moons ago when images were released ... to me that looks realy crap, but ... is that realistic ... any real battlefield junkies care to comment? lexsis
very cartoonish, I dont like it as it appears., I think I'll stick to GR1 and or [Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising] if it has all the qualities of OPF1 but better graphics.
simplesuperman
I'm not gonna down GR2 just yet. I think Ubi will be able to pull this off better than some of its other titles, plus, were how many yrs after GR1? It might lack some elements that we'd all love, but hey, if it was too realistic, then the bar would be really high for other games to come. Chems
Step back in realism the main specialist guy doesnt have any camo on his arms or face, I mean even Rambo understood about camo, its a step back for RSE cause in GR one they were all camoed arms and even watch textures. Tut tut. Anyway images look good, quite like HALO 2 but with people instead of aliens.
jmcdonald
I think I might get Full Spectrum Warrior instead.
whoa182
Games always look better in motion, no longer can game screenshots capture what a game looks because of new lighting technologies etc..
