dallasrix
Howdy Guys, I put together a model for the Walther wa2000 in 3ds max 6 I'll try to post it... If anyone wants it I have it saved in a .MAX so you can convert it in max 3 or 4 I would love it if someone could convert these to useable files for me... also Let me know what you think of the models Thanks Dallas Semper Fi

SnowFella
Work ok for me though. Nice looking model mate! Although the polygon count seems alittle high in my eyes.. .any idea how high it is?
dallasrix
6240 polygons...What is a good number to shoot for- (no pun intended). I have always modeled for quality...also I haven't yet eliminated unnecessary polygons - overlapping polygons and hidden faces. Give me an Idea of a good polygon count and I'll incorporate that into my newest model the Walther Nighthawk. Thanks for the complement. XmanL
I would say about 1000 or 1500
GRT
you dont really need alot of those cuts..if you have a good texture it will make up for alot of the geomtry detail.
