Kingpin 0 Posted July 26, 2004 Share Posted July 26, 2004 Just recently, whenever I try to play Island Thunder mpas, the game will crash back to the desktop when I start to enter the Soldier Selection screen. This hasn't happened in the past and it doesn't happen with any ohter maps. I f anyone knows what to do about this, please post here! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
KRP 56 92 Posted July 28, 2004 Share Posted July 28, 2004 I never had the problem with the IT maps but it did it to me on the GR maps while the DS & IT maps worked fine. Couldn't find anything amiss so I did a complete uninstall reinstall then it worked fine. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

At least I know it's not just me Yes, whenever I try and load an Island Thunder map, the soldier selection screen crashes out. I haven't fiddled with GR for a while (I decided to play it today *because* it's been so long since I played it). I did recently update my ATi drivers though (Cat 4.7). Have you done this as well Kingpin? If you have too, maybe the drivers are causing the crash, in which case I'd better fill out a bug report...
