_OtAcoN_ 0
Hey couldn't you use the light halo tag thats used to make the head lights on a barrel mounted flashlight? Just an idea dont know if it would work..
SnowFella 8
Take a look a little further down in this part of the forum and you will see a thread where this has been asked before...with one simple answer...NOPE. Fair enough you can put the tags in there but the GR engine only knows to look for those tags in .pob files (vehicles get exported as .pob's) and not in .qob files (and that's what you export weapons as). _OtAcoN_ 0
Yah I seen that thread, but I just happen to think of the halo tag. Didn't know if it would work but figured I ask.
larocket83 0
arent thrown grenades .pob files? if so, would it be possible to make flares?
gulf01 0
should just take the lights off the weapons if they don't work.i know its nice eye candy, but all you need is the fire power.
Russub2 0
Attachments are .qob's, you might be able to make an attachment with the light tag on it, adjust the helper point in max to fit each individual weapon, and attach to the hand bone/attachment point. I'd try it but I don't have max on my new computer yet. -r
GRT 0
.qobs are for guns also..which means you cant tag for lights. You need it to be .Pob(.pob) for the light tagging to work. Also frags are .qobs also..thats why in WOI the smoke "bomb" had to be set. Sensors and claymores and such are .pobs. Because they need to files. A hand model(.qob) and a ground model(.pob).
