Then again combine this with the general settings of most games & also tactical side of Full Spectrum Warrior - looking to be an awesome game but with some serious Propaganda for the "kids" - hey this is how the miltary works - come join us.

Then take all this into account and read this :

HERE

Read into it how you will but its all not to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Oh and not forgetting the blatantly sicko Kuma War .... not very good idea realy, making iraq war to be a game is exactly whats needed to dumb down whats realy going on out there.  :nono:

Hey Ho .... white skull valey map here I come

I want you to pay close attention to the political party that is pushing that sort of agenda in America. Both of those bills are being introduced and pushed by the democratic party. Keep that in mind this November at the voting booth.

Funny how this works out. Personally Ive always thought everyone should serve some time in the armed services. When you look at how crazy young people are nowadays, it can only do them good, Oso, I think you might agree that in some way your military service changed your life somehow for the better.

And here I thought maybe this would somehow sway me away from the Democratic candidate side. Its all good though, I dont vote and wont until I see something worth voting for and not just the lesser of two evils.

Yeh but thats what "they" want .. "i got nuffin better to do so I best be told" then go out like a brain dead ###### and slaughter innocent people.

Then come back shell shocked and ruined saying "its realy taught me a lesson" .. what? Never to shoot some family to pieces because they drove toward me?

Oh also not voting ... thats great "for them" coz your one less idiot to keep them out of power .. you know .. the neo con ######s who are slowly killing america.

And yet again on a lighter note : anyone laugh at Kafee Soundpack death sounds that hes done .... rather funny. :D

I'm a Brit but live in South Korea. They guys here have to to two and a half years military service and it's hell for them. Almost no pay and about one day off a month. They may have only about half as many soldiers as N.Korea but the N.Korean army is a wreck. They ain't gonna be bothering anyone.

As I remember they also went ape###### over the N.Korean bad guy in the last James bond (crap) movie. Considering the way they slaughter and starve their own people it's rich that they take offence at a game.

On a related note I was in Japan last year and saw in a huge computer store a massive cardboard cut out display for the Medal of honour pacific game. It featured a Japanes air craft carrier witha  a rising sun flag spread across its deck. Above it was a squadron of American planes dropping tons of bombs onto it.

I thought at the time that it was weird that they would display a game like that, showing their own navy getting the pearl harbor treatment. Then after this hissy fit from N.Korea it shows that the Japanes arn't as sensitive.

I wish i could post thepic of it here that i took before the security guard chased me out.

I was stationed in S. Korea myself at one point. I have to say that what you say is exactly what I saw and what my impression of N. Korea vs. S. Korea was/is. I had several S. Korean national friends who had not yet had to serve in the military and they were dreading the day. I saw the treatment at times of the S. Korean regular army soldiers and it was not good. The only chance they have of a vaguely decent experience is as a KATUSA. Even those guys get beat up by each other on a daily basis. I seem to recall the pay rate being approximately $14 US dollars a month for these guys even. It is very true as well that the N. Korean military is a joke, its an undertrained, starving million with little fuel and rusty old weapons. Numbers or not, Id bet S.Korea could take them out by themselves. There is a reason we have planned to remove the bulk of our US troops out of S. Korea. N. Korea is not a viable threat anymore and we know it, although it makes for a good media scare story to distract us from the real issues.

US soldiers are not "brain-dead" automatons.

Then come back shell shocked and ruined saying "its realy taught me a lesson" .. what? Never to shoot some family to pieces because they drove toward me?

Funny thing, Im not shell shocked from serving my country, neither are any of the other ex military members here.

I have the right to not speak my opinion. Im the "idiot" that wants them all out of power. Show me the ballot with that option on it and you'll get my vote.

Show me the ballot with that option on it and you'll get my vote.

I believe that is was the situation the Second Amendment was written to suit. A well regulated milita ready to deal with threats from any source, including their own government. When government fails the people, the people will rise up to replace them.

At the very least, that's the creed of the majority of Militia groups in the US, to the best of my knowledge.

I often have a hard time making a responsible choice at the polls, but I believe fundamentally that if I do not register to vote, and at least go to the polls, even if I refuse to choose any of the options, I have earned my right to be critical of the government elected, as I made it my business to have a voice. If I did not bother at all, I would feel like I had given up any right to complain.

Everyone should download The all seeing eye and play GR1 rather than talk about N. Korea, S Korea, and US. We are gamers no matter what land or origin is the battlefront. Let Games begin.

this is stupid......a country is upset over a game?!  Well, that must mean that they have nothing more important to worry about.....I swear, at times I question whether or not the human animal is the most intelligent... <_<

IF and only IF the N. Korea made a FPS in wich you kill american civilians and put bombs in buildings in New York how would you feel ???

Then some American would come back with a game where you get to nuke North Korea.

I could honestly say that if a game were made where you kill americans(grand theft auto) Or a game to plan and commit terrorism/military invasion in the US, and it was well made and fun I would most certainly play and enjoy it.

And if this madatory community service thing goes through ill supposedly ride my motorcycle off dead mans curve and live in a attic somewhere. Fun!

I just think that the moment you enter the military (mainly these days sleeper - iraq etc - post 9/11 ###### wars etc) ...

You then become cannon fodder for the fools in power who will never see a firefight in there lives. I respect tho who are in the services but its "currently" its a mess.

I guess I may have digressed ... but it certainly makes for a good thread though.

PS - sleeper - "Show me the ballot with that option on it and you'll get my vote." - make sure its not a online or digital vote! -

Maybe we'll have to create a mod for N. Korea ala Jack57's Band of Brothers and Brothers in Arms. Both were extremely well done and turned the table on the original game. :D

:sheep: The North Koreans have got to learn to seperate reality from fantasy for sure. All Red Storm is doing is trying to create the most realistic scenarios for its millions of Ghosts out there. This is a game it doesn't instill hatred towards the North Korean people. In Rogue Spear and Rainbow Six you had the Russians and the rogue middle eastern terrorist. Did they complain....NO! In GR they took it to Russia, Cuba etc... you know what I mean. Nobody has cried fowl except the Korean's. Grow up, its just a game.

you have to look at it this way, vietnam....look how resiliant these people are, the us went in with the intention of coming home the victors but that didnt happen. im ex army so i know a little of what im saying "korean special forces are or have at one time been trained by british & american special forces so they gotta have abit of go in them, as for the regular soldiers...they recruit females too and ive seen an 8 stone korean female soldier hit a 3"" thick board with her fist in mid air and break it in two, and thats just the women guys, im ex parachute regiment and we did milling which is basicaly 2 guys in a ring hammering the ###### out of each other "its meant to build confidence", alot of the guys do martial arts in their own time as its not part of the british army curriculum, so what im saying is that unarmed these guys are still formidable opponents, any guy on here who's been in a combat role will know "never underestimate the enemy"

They've fallen victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous of which, is 'Never get involved in a land war in asia'. But only slightly less well know, is 'Never make a video game involved in a land war in asia'.

landwars, dont fare well for the us, i was in bosnia when the yanks helped the un, i have alot of respect for the guys in iraq & afghanistan and hope they all come home safe, but personally think that the yanks couldant find their arses with both hands...ive trained with the marines & rangers, the marines just swamp you and the rangers are only good in small units....and before anyone starts saying i dont know what im talking about go join the british armys parachute regiment then ill maybe listen to your point of view! good luck to the us & brits in iraq at this time...

An American empire? Gee lest see, in the last century America has come to the aid of democracies in Europe twice. The USA with its allies defeated Germany twice, Italy, and Japan. The only land we occupied is a few acres to bury our dead. How horrible. Sounds to me like someone’s buying into the socialist propaganda to me. But hey everybody’s got a right to their opinion, except for those in North Korea, China and the other wonderful socialist utopias you seem to admire.

Inc-Doc you are a blinded fool.

Crawl back under the rock you came from and go back to sleep.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz .....

Just to quote your sig - "I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people and I expect the same from them. " D.B. Books 1901

You expect the same ... what about if "they" are wronged (and you think your right) - they feel insulted (and you think your right) - they fight back (you think thats wrong becuase your right - because you wont be wronged) ... you obviously dont expect the same from them - right?

- you sound like you quote & talk from you own point of view thats been fed to you, what a shame.
