BlueRose_76 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Share Posted June 24, 2004 Today i had an assignment to do some afteraction photographs of an opera. I arrived a bit late at location. Due to the rainy weather and the chosen ride was a bike i was wet, wore jeans, sneakers and hadnt shaven for days. To be short i was in my well cultivated bum-look. My client was like; Didnt you know that Queen Beatrix (the dutch queen) is here? and i was like; No, (dumpnut) i dont know, because you didnt told me so. I got a clearance from the RVD (the dutch secret service ), i was allowed to go to the special royal area. After being introduced to the royal inner circle they set the director and solists of the opera up for a group portrait with the queen. Then the queen come to me and asks; "Where would you like me to stay,..Sir?" And i was like; "Err, mfsahhlk ncnso sgham.... Majesty" As you can read i kind of ruined my chance to talk to her majesty. After the work i got a special compliment of the secret service (the guy wasnt tall, but according to the width of his coat he must have some huge weaponary on him) of dealing very professional with this sort of delicate situation. The pics were fine, all focused and well exposed. It was, except for the lack of a catchy line at the right moment, a good evening afterall. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
