Has this problem been resolved yet? If not, tell us if you use cable or DSL The potential answers are: 1) The problem may not be your computer, but your ISP's network, and it will resolve in time 2) More importantly, check your system for trojans and spyware that could be hogging bandwidth by sending info from your system. (In the worse case, your computer could have been hijacked and turned into a server for distributing bad stuff). Check by scanning with the latest virus definitions and spyware removal programs. (I recommend Spybot, but Adaware is very good too.) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Crimson 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Author Share Posted June 24, 2004 It's ADSL. Whats weird is, while my upload speeds were next to nothing, the phone lines in the house werent working... no dial tone. This went on for about a day and a half. Apparently, someone tried calling the house and gave the phone lines a kick in the rear, so they are working again. Also, my upload speeds are back to a little above normal, so all is good now. Very odd. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
