When you've completed all campains, and completed em' again, and you've got 45 glorious free minutes between getting home n' picking up the girlfriend from work. What's it gonna be? Firefight? A single favorite mission from a campaign? And in doing one of these do you try different tactics on a particular (favorite) part of a mis? Try n' storm a certain part of a certain map as quick as you n' ya guys can without having any of you carc it? Or just enjoy a good quick blast in firefight? Cobblers Posted February 19, 2003 Share Posted February 19, 2003 Well, normally I will try and play a multiplayer TEAM game on some server or other. But by myslef it would have to be a one manded fire fight mission on Elite. Although I still regularly get my ###### kicked, it's good practise and almost any level on Elite can be completed with a handful of respawns. I agree with you there m8ty! HX4 is a great mod to use for coop games etc. If only more mods were this good. The ones I like best are the kill the warlord and make it to an extraction zone, very fun, and when timer is on a five min limit it means you have to learn to shoot fast and accurate and get the job done and get out. mik Posted February 19, 2003 Author Share Posted February 19, 2003 I used to love doing, or trying rather, the mission (I think it was called 'Riot in Belgrade') apologies to the creator for not remembering who did this one, outstanding mission. You started on the rooftop of the embassy in the embassy map and were then swamped, and I mean bloody overrun with militia, you just had to lay there on the roof top with your team mates keeping your heads down while trying to (as I liked to) lay as much fire down with your SAW as you could on the massive crowds of militia that came pouring around the corner from one of the buildings from down the street for at least 5mins, all while that song from Gladiator was playing (very mood setting ). Then came the tanks... Again, to who ever created that mis. - brilliant job! Gonna have to d/l again; lost it along the way at some point.
