budgie 1
If they did that they could then put Clinton on the $2 bill and George W. on the wooden nickel...
NightCrawler 137
Personally I think they should do it.
budgie 1
Seriously though is there a bill (say $50) they could invent and put his face on? Lots of other countries have 5,10,20,50,100,1000 denominations.
MarkVanDamme 0
Just out of curiosity, what is a "dime", "nickel" and such? I assume a quarter is 25c, a denomination we (Brit's) don't have.
MarauderMike 0
A dime is 10 cents A Quarter is 25 cents A Nickle is 5 cents a Penny is 1 cent In Canada a "Loonie" is 1 dollar coin a "Toonie" a 2 dollar coin

Lots of other countries have 5,10,20,50,100,1000 denominations. I dont know about inventing a new bill because the US already has Federal Reserve notes that are printed and issued in denominations of $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 (The $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000 denominations have not been printed since 1946.). Maybe redesign one or do a commerative coin or bill...maybe on silver certificates?
insaneflyingmonkey 0
a "Toonie" a 2 dollar coin Although to Americans its still refered to as a penny.
Ruin 17
A Nickle is 5 cents He even spells it like a Brit JP Man. Nickel. When did they stop making them out of Nickel I wonder... A two dollar coin, a penny? Never heard of it (or a Loonie or a Toonie)... locally, I've only heard the $1 coin referred to as a Golden Dollar... clever eh? Never even heard of a two dollar coin,... I have several 2 dollar bills, but coins? That's cool.
