biffs 0
How can i make the Ghosts dress like one of the enemies? Im trying to get the ghosts to do a stealth operation inside the enemy camp, and i want them to blend in with everyone else. Can it be done, if so, how?
Chavez 0
Allthough you maybe can give them tango uniforms; the tangos (real ones) in the enemy platoon won't be fooled by that as they count bits and bytes to find out who to shoot. But its a cool scenario - a dream for a paranoid squad of nine sneaking in with IFF off. Should I shoot him? Is that you Joe? No! Thud!! Cease fireing. Lol Dont know actually. Guess Jack57 will be here to answer you. Weirds he hasn't already. He must be on holiday
Jack57 0
Guess Jack57 will be here to answer you. Weirds he hasn't already. He must be on holiday Nah, I got so busy here I missed the damn bus Prolly the best and quickest way to do it would be to copy the enemy skins you want to your mod and rename them to the ones the Ghosts use, ie: ica_us_demolition_body.rsb, etc, etc, etc. Of course, as Chavez points out, you will still be seen as hostile by the enemy - but you can script around that easy enough. Good luck,Jack
biffs 0
Yeah i was just going to have them invisible sitting in the back of the truck while they are transported into enemy territory. when they exit the truck they are fair game. I was trying to stay away from having to package it into a full blown mod, just wanted a mis file. oh well - gotta do what you have to do.
biffs 0
another quick question, can you use the truck (m35) to transport players in multiplayer? or is it like the heli
el nino foxhound 0
Yes thats possible, you can use a truck insertion in MP. Just keep in mind the truck can only contain a max of 7 passengers and 1 driver. So you should make a stopif if more than 7 players are in the MP game and transport them to the zone you wanted them to get out of the truck. This is how I did it, maybe others can tell you something more simple. BTW they love riding trucks in MP
biffs 0
yeah riding a truck is sweet how many people can fit in the pickup?
el nino foxhound 0
If I am not mistaken you can add 1 driver and 2 passengers in a pickup. Just try sometimes to see if something works, if not the actors not loaded in the assigned vehicle will just keep standing at their starting point. This way you can count yourself how many actors fit inside a certain vehicle.
Recon 0
actors not loaded in the assigned vehicle will just keep standing at their starting point. I tried it and the actor left out went prone for some reason and just didn't move. Does this not normally happen? I didn't give him any stance plan.
Jack57 0
That's normal if thier AI is on.
