Noobs and Flaming

I've noticed a lot of noobs come on lately and with it an increase in hostile behaviour. Just saw the thread Jammo got locked in GR2 Console discussions. Has anyone else noticed an upsurge in new members with attitude problems?

I only say this because since politics was banned, things had been awfully civil until recently.

Well I'm not a newbie but I could start posting "questionable" topics and opinions again...just to balance out the nOOb flaming with established member flaming? And of course I'm just kidding.

With the release of news of GR2, the trolls have come out of the woodwork it seems. I guess with the advent of a different GR2 that what was expected, we may see a different and slightly disadvantaged class of member (this is my opinion and not that of GR.net).

I've never quite gotten the point of this anger that people are feeling towards a game If it sucks, it sucks. Not our problem, it can just sit on a shelf forever. We've always got GR to come back to if it does.

I second all of the above, thou the content was at the time seen as relevant but does not hence forth represent the attitudes of GR.net therefore attitudes willing one shall refrain from noob bashing inless hence forth stated in this here forums by one/all of the staff members mentioned in the staff list, this though does not contradict the above statment and in no way represents gr.net although Staff are present in the conversation. At the time of creation the context of this post was not present in the authors mind hence forth shall be ignored willingly and shall not arise again in the field of discussion inless raised by myself or the chain of command which is topped by the all powerful furby, or in the event of his Highness the Pink Hondinians absence the Giant Space Ants are in control. Recall this does not represent the thinking or chain of thought or collective groupness of the http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums staff in any way shape or form although inless stated it does.

Because I spent this morning reading a 40 something page legal document checking we weren't being screwed out of lots of money this morning and it made my head bleed.

It's understandable, really. I mean -- with a controversial sequel coming up, it's hardly surprising that some passionate fans take the time to sign up and leave their two cents.

Yeah, some people have acted questionably, but I guess they'll just take some time to get properly acquainted with the rules and with what is/isn't acceptable.
