Rocky 1,224
I was thinking about adding this cheap wifi card to my mobo http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/asus_wireless.html Question is, what do I need to add to the other PC for them to work - a PCI 802.1 card - is that all and I'm good to go? Dan 0
i thunk all you need is the second thing down, the: Asus Wireless WL-138G PCI Adapter (NW-004-AS) And any software/drivers etc. Baring in mind if the other comp isnt connected to the interent idependanty, if ur gunna rely on the network to to share it, youll have to have the main computer turned on if u wanna use the other one for internet. or you could get the router: Asus Wireless WL-500G Router (NW-003-AS) But be warned, make sure your wireless has some kind of securirty cos (its unlikely) someone might rock up outside your hoose with a car, a laptop and some fancy aerials, and use your network! Happened to one of the private girls schools near me, some blokes got caught doin it!

Though wireless running on UHF are quite handy, but the G version of the new wireless radio transmission is about 100MW... it can pass thur walls, doors.... which to me is not very good for human body....
