magnumkp 0
C4 10:35pm. Apparently he is using the rituals of a seance, although he has said he has no way of contacting the dead and is a confirmed sceptic. Also there will be interactive sections at home. Sounds good. Probably his usual mind reading stunts but with the air of the supernatural about them. He was on the Jonathan Ross Radio 2 show on Saturday, and said that he wasn't going out to show that clarvouants (I think that word should have an I in it somewhere) are all frauds (like James Randi) as he believes that starting out with a negative agenda will not help. Currently the C of E are up in arms, and he is being closely watched by Ofcom (formally ITC) to check he doesn't cross the lines. As he said himself he can play russian roulette on tv, but had to jump through so many hoops just to get a ouija board on the show. Looks like fun, but missed his show on Friday . Rocky 1,224
What is C and E and what show on Friday? I'll maybe catch you on Teamspeak after the show to discuss "how he did it"
magnumkp 0
Church of England, and he has a new series on at the moment (I think it was the last one on Friday). Can't catch you on TS, I'll be recording it, too many plans, so little time...

Rocky 1,224
Entertaining stuff as usual. Obvioulsy don't think about it too much or it spoils the illusion, but cool none the less, even to see those students freak out like that.

magnumkp 0
I enjoyed it. I can see how being in a dark room with a ball floating about and your friend contacting the dead would give you the fear. Really, it was just a lot of his old tricks repackaged, very clever stuff though. What really impressed me was his first "trick" of guessing what relation the girl was thinking of, even down to the flower connection. On a similar note anyone remember a 1 off special played on Halloween back in '92 called Ghost Watch? It had Sarah Greene, Mark Curry and Michael Parkinson in it. Basically, it was a "live" documentary at a haunted house, (just a standard 2 up 2 down town hosue, nothing fancy) and they kept going back to the studio for interviews with paranormal experts and so on. Nothing much happens at first, one of the girls in the house fakes a noise, but slowly things start happening getting worse and worse, eventually they go back to the studio where lights start exploding and they evacuate. However, I didn't see most of this. I believe I saw a part of this show where one of the girls is possessed behind a sofa speaking in a man's voice. That was all I needed to see, and I didn't sleep well for weeks after it (no joke). Just wondering if anyone else remembers it and confirm there was a part in which a girl gets possessed behind a sofa while in a faetal like position? Or, failing that, anything else that gives/gave people the fear. Rocky 1,224
On a similar note anyone remember a 1 off special played on Halloween back in '92 called Ghost Watch? Yeh that was great, although I sort of missed the party so to speak. It was suposed to be a documentary/experiment, but obvioulsy as it panned out, it was actually all a set up to scare the hell out of the viewers. Worked very well. Rocky 1,224
Did you drop off Messenger there? Chems disapeared too, dunno if you got bored waiting for a reply or if it was a technical hitch. Anyway, I can't recall the detail about the kid behind the sofa sorry.
