I opened up a face from Ghost Recon, made some changes and tried to save it and it told me I could not because the height was not a power of two, I didn't resize it or anything. :wall: Anyone have this problem or know a way around it? :(

I don't think I've ever had it happen in PhotoShop. What version are you using? Are you using the IT plugins? I'm using PhotoShop 7.0 (or is it 7.1? ) and the IT plugins. I have zero problems.

All textures applied to the map must be in RSB format and the dimensions must be powers of 2.

Legal texture sizes are:

16 x 16

16 x 32

16 x 64

32 x 32

32 x 64

32 x 128

64 x 64

64 x 128

64 x 256

128 x 128

128 x 256

128 x 512

256 x 256

256 x 512

256 x 1024

256 x 2048

512 x 512

512 x 1024

512 x 2048

1024 x 1024

1024 x 2048

Each texture must be flattened before it can be saved as an RSB file.

Face tex's should be 256 x 128, check your tex.

If I remember right, when I was using PSP5 and the DS rsb plugin it would save the rsb regardless of the size ratio.

I remember what he's talking about, though. For some reason, the RSB plugins are sort of squirrelly, and think the image is incorrectly sized sometimes. As I said, I haven't had any problems with PhotoShop, but I had all kinds of problems when I was using PSP.

I remember having the same problem with Photoshop 7 (when I had it). The size of the face texture is 256x128. I haven't changed anything.I was looking for some kind of saving restriction options but couldn't find anything.

It's a psp problem. Here's the workaround:

Install the RSB Editor:

-Go to your IT cd, look in the extras/RSB editor folder

-unzip and install the RSBEditor

Now to solve the problem:

-Save the file as a .bmp in psp

-Open the RSB editor, go to the directory with your .bmp

-Right click on the .bmp, select "convert image(s)"

-That should convert your .bmp into .rsb, without the power of two issue
